Namun, tentu saja, adegan kekerasan yang terpampang di film ini membuatnya tidak layak ditontong anak-anak di bawah usia 17 tahun. Film ini disajikan dengan cerdas sehingga enak dinikmati dari menit ke anggota keluarga yang memburu Grace pun tidak digambarkan stereotipe penjahat di film-film semacam ini. Mereka terlihat seperti orang normal, hanya punya karakter yang unik dan sadis. Selain itu, pembawaan mereka pun hanya terlihat sangar di awal film, padahal, mereka biasa-biasa saja. Alur plotnya yang mengalir tanpa banyak cabang sana sini membuat film ini jadi mudah diikuti. Namun, begitu, ketegangan pun tetap terasa di film ini, terutama ketika Grace harus bersembunyi dan menyelamatkan itu disajikan tanpa banyak tambahan sana sini yang terkesan berlebihan, semuanya tampil dengan sangat pas. Sutradara Matt Bettinelli-Olpin dan Tyler Gillett mampu menjahit cerita film ini dengan sangat pas ketika tampil di layar lebar. Plot twistnya pun cukup menarik dan membuat penasaran. Dan, sekali lagi, disajikan tanpa porsi berlebihan. Akting Samara sebagai Grace pun patut diacungi yang awalnya diperlihatkan sebagai gadis ceria, harus berubah menjadi gadis tangguh yang membela dirinya sendiri tanpa bantuan orang lain. Meski begitu, dia masih sempat tersenyum di kala bahaya mengancam dirinya. Dia mampu merepresentasikan ketangguhan seorang wanita yang dianggap lemah tapi ternyata mampu melawan apa pun halangan di depannya. Ready or Not adalah film horor yang menyenangkan dan menyajikan humor. Di tengah ketegangan dan kebrutalan yang disajikan, film memiliki plot twist yang layak or Not sudah bisa disaksikan di bioskop kesayangan Anda.
